Who's Bart?

I grew up in Oude Wetering, a small village in the Netherlands, and after having studied International Business in Tilburg, I lived in Madrid, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam. I started my career at one of the biggest Online retailers in the Benelux, Coolblue. After that, I worked for two years in consultancy at OneRetail, where I led projects for Samsung, NS (Dutch Railways), and Intergamma. This was followed by two years at online fashion retailer Wehkamp, where I led the Trade Marketing team. Then, in 2020, I moved to London with my partner, Joni, and started freelancing. Ever since, I've worked for over 20 different companies, from retailers, fashion brands, SDA brands, to recruitment agencies.

Outside of work, the thing I love to do most is spend time with my daughter, Mila, and my wife, Joni. Things that give me energy are going to music festivals, enjoying London's nightlife, catching a football game, doing cycling or hiking trips on the weekend, and maintaining my languages (I boast about speaking 7 languages, but to be fair, the only language I've really reached fluency in is Dutch). Also, I'm an avid reader and music lover; and I'd love to take my friends out for a mountain bike trip somewhere in the English countryside.
